Clearing the Clutter
It is always important to pace yourself. If you need to declutter and organize then ask for help.
Why Declutter?
As in the body, energy should be able to flow freely throughout a physical space as the ancient art of Feng Shui has long extrapolated.
To create a supportive and harmonious space for you is
simple- declutter it and organize it! The more cluttered
your home or work space is the less likely this space
will be able to positively work for you.
I see countless people in a variety of low energy states who live in chaos.
This image shows what can happen to an energy field that
is literally weighed down by “stuff” chaotic
living. Most people feel like a physical weight is lifted
when they declutter their home. When you finish the energy
in your home will flow more freely and therefore be healthier
and support you more effectively.
How do I Declutter and Organize?
Start with either your work or home space (I do ask clients to do both).
At home start with one room at a time. The general rule
of thumb is that if you haven’t used it/worn it/thought
about it in 1 year recycle it. At the end of this process
ask yourself if you actually like what you are
left with. Objects hold energetic memory of times and
people. Are you happy with the energy your objects are
holding in your space? If items need to be repaired, organize
this.
You may find that you have items that you wish to sell or give to charity. Look up your Yellow Pages and find out if can have bags or furniture uplifted from your home.

Once one room is completely finished, including drawers
and cupboards, move onto the next room. When you have
finished examine your systems of organizing your material
life. Do they work for you? If not change them.
Do you want to work in your workspace? A simple question but for many people the answer is no. As this is where you are expected to perform this space has to be a positive environment for you.
If you believe there’s room for improvement make a list of what you need to do and get to it. If you’re not sure about what would work best for you ask for input from a few colleagues. Once you have finished I guarantee you will feel liberated, have more energy and deservedly feel proud of yourself.
"It's All Too Much" is a brilliant book dedicated to helping you benefit from decluttering and organizing your space.
