Our energy system governs our energetic well being. For optimal well being we need a free flowing, balanced and harmonious energy system.
So why is managing money is important to our energy field? Let's look at the chakras...
Meeting your physical needs (home, work, food and clothes,) is the area governed by your root chakra. This is your base and the more solid this centre is the more solid you are. This makes it the logical place for us to examine our relationship with money.
It doesn't only effect your root chakra. Money is also used by some of us as a way to define our status so we often buy goods that we think will make us feel good, worthy and successful. Having the best car, the biggest house, a plasma TV, cosmetic surgery, luxury holidays, etc, will make us feel better. Right? No!
Why? Worthiness and ego feel good stimulate our solar plexus chakra. Marry this to the stimulation from the sacral chakra that the desire to have even more brings and a powerful, all consuming, ‘must have' force emanates from our bodies.
There are two problems here:
1.Many of us buy things that we can't afford to pay for. Our debt hits our root chakra like a tornado, destabilizes our energy foundation then negatively ricochets through our sacral and solar plexus making us feel empty and unworthy. Worst of all, as these are our unconscious centres, how does your system best try to re-balance? By leading you back into feelings of general desire and the false promises of worthiness and feel good success through things.
2. Ultimately true happiness can only arise from within and not from with-out: with-out being anything in material form that is separate to your body. How do we know this is true? Think of the rich, unhappy celebs that you can name who have everything they could possibly have or desire in material form. Or think of the great car or handbag that made you feel so happy that you know take for granted.
But money's an energy, right? And can't we attract or repel it? Sure. But at the same time unless you know how much is enough and your core vibration is happy, how ever much you attract will never be enough to stop the solar plexus ricochet.
The good news is that the economic crisis, as well spiritual movement, is giving us an opportunity to wake up and bring what is unconscious in our lives into consciousness. We could start to make our unconscious chakras conscious and this means responsible money management. Spirituality starts and ends with how we respect ourselves and others now in this present form. Not being conscious of aspects of our life governed by our root chakra robs us of energetic integrity and harmony no matter how consciously you focus on your third eye and crown chakra.
