Sometimes we can feel washed up, helpless and alone.

Last week I walked along the beach where thousands of jellyfish had been left by the tide to die and dry up on the sand. Physically they could do nothing about it. They had no hands or feet to lift themselves back to the water. There were no family, friends, colleagues or professionals to pick them up and help them in their time of need.

This made me realise how lucky we are as a species. We have the capabilities of picking ourselves up. Within the reach of everyone is family, a friend, a colleague or a professional that is capable of helping in times of need.

If you are feeling alone and all washed up in life remember that within you is the ability to pick yourself up and start living again. This ability is your birth right as a human being. If finding this ability seems to difficult ask for help. It's amazing what a pair of helping hands can do.

Many ask to find ways to get more energy. Having energy is a natural state of being. If you want more energy look at where you spend it freely in daily living. Everything you do in life spends energy. Spending freely is not the same as spending wisely. By stopping and asking yourself, "Do I spend my energy wisely?" you can begin to understand where your energy is being used. Audit your energy spend: what did you do, where was your thinking, where did you put your effort? Your energy may be the most precious resource you ever have. Spending it wisely creates a payback to you. Spending it freely and not wisely creates only payout. Using your energy via effort to do this exercise now based on your day so far will give you the information you need to create more payback. With information you can then make choices to gain more energy. There are always other ways to get things done or other ways of Being whilst getting things done.
